Formatting Page Design

I played around with border creation this Easter Weekend. I know that I would prefer to have borders around text pages. For a rough draft experiment, I hand drew in pencil, and then scanned in. The learning curve was trying to figure out how to set it as a background, put behind the text, which probably varies for each word processor. I am using WPS Writer at the moment.

Here is the sample of my hand drawn pencil border. I didn't clean up the upper right edge.

I would like to experiment with song note, fire, and water borders in the future.
